The March 2009 winner is Corey McAveeney (right), a student at the Monterey Institute of International Studies (MIIS).  McAveeney, who is graduating with her Master’s degree in International Trade Policy this month, lives 1.5 miles from MIIS and walks to school daily.  She has opted out of owning a car and the car free lifestyle makes her healthier and happier.
